Bade Achhe Lagte Hain is a popular Drama of Indian Sony Television. The story is based on two unmarried persons. The Drama explores the worlds of two different personalities Priya Sharma and Ram Kapoor who accidentally discover love after they marry. In this show Priya Sharma, an unmarried woman in her early thirties, believes that marriage has passed her by, yet continues to be a romantic soul and takes joy in relishing the small moments of life. She has spent half her lifetime taking up the responsibilities of her family. On the other hand, Ram Kapoor, an entrepreneur in his early forties, is extremely busy with work and does not feel the need for a life partner. He finds happiness in making his family happy but remains oblivious to the real faces of his family members a malicious stepmother, Niharika, a spoilt brat of a stepsister, Natasha, a greedy stepbrother, Siddhant, and many others. Yet, marriage suddenly comes knocking at his door. Natasha loves Priya's brother Kartik and wants to get married to him. Niharika decides that Ram should marry Priya, to which Priya's family happily agrees. Everyone reckons that Priya and Ram really like each other. But in reality, both hold the view that they are poles apart, their personalities and lifestyles being too different. Nevertheless, they agree to marry for their families' sakes. Through Priya and Ram's hilarious bickering, they unknowingly develop affection for each other. The festivities of both marriages begin and Natasha and Kartik's marriage occurs first. Afterwards, in a very awkward but heartfelt sequence, Priya and Ram are married. Natasha struggles to adjust to middle-class life after marrying Kartik, but plots to reign over the household in Priya's place. Priya and Ram try to live through the mutual awkwardness in starting married life together.
